THE ‘DIVERSE DINNER’ CONCEPT
Using sustainable produce is something we take very seriously here at the Watch House. By moving away from the more mainstream species such as cod, haddock as well as others it diversifies the market, taking the commercial pressures off more popular species and allowing stocks to replenish. We bring to you, the ‘diverse dinner’. Our chefs will select a less commonly known species that is sustainably caught in west bay where possible and cook it in such a way you will wonder why you’ve never had it before, we urge you to try something different. My partner and I had lunch at The Watch House recently whilst on hoiiday in the area. We were very impressed with the food, lovely crab sandwich and delicious seafood and chorizo broth. Generous helpings too! It was a very pleasant surprise to find food of this high quality in a lovely little beach cafe. The staff were very friendly as well. I wish you every success.
